What we do

We shape the district our members thrive in.

For over twenty years, we have worked hand-in-hand with three Mayors of London, five leaders of Westminster City Council, and five Metropolitan Police Commissioners. Together, we make the West End a great place to live, work and do business – and one of the most exciting destinations to visit.

Our goal is simple: to ensure the West End is safe, welcoming and commercially competitive, while delivering an exceptional experience for the millions of visitors it attracts each year.

Backed by a record £60 million programme of direct investment between 2026-31, we are focused on delivering a safer, cleaner and more competitive West End. We will do this through public realm transformation, world-class street management, bold destination marketing, and strategic advocacy and insight.

Our pillars

We are focused on four strategic pillars: Operations, Experience, Innovation, and Advocacy. These pillars guide everything we do, ensuring the West End remains safe, vibrant, competitive, and future-ready.

Operations

We promote a clean, safe, and resilient district – one that supports businesses, visitors, workers and residents alike.

Experience

We shape and promote the West End experience – from our world-famous festive lights, to seasonal art installations and pop-ups.

Innovation

We harness cutting-edge data and technology to give our members a competitive edge – helping them spot opportunities early, respond to market shifts, and plan with confidence.

Advocacy

We champion the policies, partnerships and campaigns that ensure the West End remains a world-class destination.
