7th October, London: New West End Company and HBO Max today announce a landmark partnership to bring the magic of Harry Potter to Oxford Street this Christmas.
The collaboration will transform one of London’s most iconic destinations into a festive celebration of one of the world’s most beloved stories, bringing a host of Harry Potter inspired celebrations and attractions to shoppers, commuters, international visitors and fans throughout the festive season.
The partnership is timed to celebrate the Christmas launch of new HBO Original TV series HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE, alongside the opening of Harry Potter Shop Oxford Street – the UK’s largest official Harry Potter flagship shop, which opens its doors to wizards, witches and Muggles on 4th November. Together these moments ensure London’s West End is transformed with Hogwarts magic this festive season.
Bringing Magic and Wonder to Oxford Street
Alongside Oxford Street’s iconic star Christmas lights, visitors will be treated to a series of specially created illuminated designs to bring the world of Harry Potter to life.
