Notice of Independent Examination Hearings of Westminster’s City Plan 2019-2040 Partial Review

On 28 November 2024, Westminster City Council submitted Westminster’s City Plan Partial Review to the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for Examination in Public in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.

The Secretary of State has appointed G. Davies Bsc (Hons) DipTP MRTPI to carry out the independent examination of Westminster’s City Plan 2019-2040 Partial Review. As part of the independent examination, the Inspector will hold a number of public hearing sessions.
Public hearing sessions

Westminster City Council hereby gives notice that the examination hearing will be held as follows:

Dates & Times of hearing sessions
The hearings will commence at 10:00 am on Tuesday 29th April 2025 and finish on Thursday 1st May 2025. Hearing sessions will commence at 10:00 am on Tuesday 29th, and 09:30am on Wednesday 30th April and Thursday 1st May.

Place of hearing sessions
The public hearing sessions will be in person at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP.

The arrangements for participation are to be confirmed closer to the opening of the hearings. Arrangements will be in place for people to observe the hearing sessions in person.
